June 26: Roxane Gay

Roxane Gay wrote an essay about quarantine cooking in Bon Appetit that beautifully captures my desire to stay occupied, to create, and to nourish during this time, and my increased comfort adjusting and adapting. 

Spending some time on her Twitter feed introduced me to Hear to Slay, the podcast she co-hosts with Tressie McMillan Cottom, and a Twitter account called Your Black Friends Are Busy, described as a growing resource for learning about anti-racism. I can't wait to check both of these out.
